Transferring the principle to AMS. The large aperture of the air pipe on the membrane gives it a large roughness. Much less playable by lungs and hands because it is less versatile than a small nozzle, but in this case, we've got it going off quite well and it suited the organ pipes well. Some very interesting effects were achieved by gently drumming the skin with a clock spring. The skin exerted power on the spring to bouce up, while the spring has its own oscillation whilst being powered by the percussion arm. Complicated but interesting. We're excited to play it with the feedback unit.

I'd like to try smaller nozzles and a less taught membrane to try to get some softer tones out of it.
